Our Fostering team had a wonderful time with some of our foster carers, their children and the children they look after when they got together to replant our lovely little (actually it’s quite big!) flower patch set in the beautiful surroundings of Forbury Gardens in Reading.

The flower garden was dedicated to all BFfC foster carers last year as a symbol to shine a light on the incredible families we are very lucky to have as part of the BFfC fostering community. Some of the wildflower plants from last year were re-appearing and about to burst into bloom!

Everyone enjoyed a picnic and a gardening demonstration from the fabulous Roland, Head Gardener at Forbury Gardens. The children then planted the garden with herbs, including camomile, lemongrass, rosemary, lavender and more.

With huge thanks to Dijana, Grace, Steffi and Juvy from our Fostering team, and our Comms team for all their work organising the event and making it such a special day.
